Moon Over Buffalo

I'm not quite sure it's a sunrise - I kind of see an ocean, a cresting sun . . . are you with me??

So, it's pretty and all, but I'm not sure if it's going to work, it's um, a bit floppy. I'm not sure the fabric is stiff enough to be a jacket, exactly. It's more like, a baggy sweater??? Hopefully, that won't be the case. A toggle here, a toggle there - it will all work out. If not -- there's always another blanket . . .

I can't comment on the drapiness, but I love the striping! Looks very cool. Maybe if you keep it buttoned all the way the drape won't be a factor.

I think it might be OK. I'm using the suggested yarn and it's firm, but still drapes too. I'll be at knitting circle tomorrow if you want to compare.

The stripes look amazing!

Love the stripes....I figure the drapiness will be OK as the jacket is fairly fitted and you're unlikely to wear it without the buttons done up

Maybe if you post a close up picure of the fabric, we can compare it's density of the fabric that the suggested yarn makes...
