Tapestry wool vs. Embroidery Floss

I al ready to sew up my seams but mistaking bought Embroidery floss instead of Tapestry wool. (Joann's didn't have it) Will this still work for seaming? My one worry is that it might not be as durable as the wool. Please leave any comments you have. Thanks.

My left front

I've made some great progress recently:

Working the front panel is fun for me; not too repetitive to get bored, but not too difficult to lose interest.

Left Front

Sorry for the late post. I started on this at the end of August and have already finished the right front. Now onto the left front. I am knitting this in Knitpick's Wool of the Andes in Heather Amethyst and I love it! Haven't thought about the toggles yet. Next trip to Joann's though, I will start my search.

We've reached our limit!

Hey Knitters!

A brief hello from your moderator. Just wanted to let you know that I've closed membership -- our number was so large I just couldn't keep up!

So let's do this KAL some justice and see a few more FOs!

Here she is...

My sunrise circle jacket! I used Cleckheaton country silk, found at a yarn store that was going out of business. I really love the way this Austrailian yarn feels. The sleeves are a bit long--I sure wish I'd been reading this blog earlier---but overall, I'm really happy with this sweater. I love the buttons and can't wait to wear it.
