Knitting completed....
I actually finished the knitting last night - but it was late and I was tired - so I decided to wait until today, after it was blocked, to photograph.
I can see it taking shape now - Love it!
Still on the hunt for the right buttons. The ones I bought would have been great for the original colour yarn I had chosen - but I think they are too dark for this colour (I guess I should have placed them in this photograph...oh well ;))

How about red red buttons - - in some longer wild length?
Annie - I'll take a pic with it on once I have finished sewing. I just placed the individual pieces to make it look "whole" I hadn't even started sewing yet ;)
Paisley - I have wooden toggles but they have a very dark stain. I am thinking they are just too dark from this dark grey yarn.
Red buttons? Hmmm, thanks for the suggestion but I don't think that would be "me". I like red, but it just wouldn't be right for me on this garment.
I am thinking either bamboo toggles or if I can find some really great silver antique looking buttons....problem is finding exactly what I am picturing in my head.....
