it's done!!
i love deadlines. it makes me work like a machine, and when i achieve them they make me glow. and right now i'm glowing like... a sunrise. look!
terrible photos: the colours are actually so much better, the finishing is good and the hems WORKED! i'm so happy : ) but also so sleepy... i'll write a better post in a few days and share a few details which might help people on hemming etc. in the mean time, good luck to those nearly finished!
now, when do i catch my train to paris...?

would highly recommend one button if you're knitting a smaller size. I knit the 35" size and thought lots of buttons made it look a little like a straight jacket! using one meant i could also use the bigger button i preferred.
jackie - my deadline was a self-inflicted one as i'm going to paris at the weekend and wanted something new to wear. annoyingly it looks like it's going to be warm there over the weekend, but i'll just sweat!!
looking forward to seeing lots more completed jackets soon!
